We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I like getting to know each patient on a personal level, learning about their interests and adventures. We're always sharing jokes and laughing together. My favorite time is the day we remove a patient's braces and they see their beautiful smile for the first time. They can't stop looking in the mirror and grinning! I've been a part of the team since 2006 and treasure all of the friendships I've made while helping patients during their visits.
I recently married the love of my life, Chad. I enjoy spending time with my hubby, family and friends.
I love watching our patients transform during treatment. Not only does their smile change, but their self-esteem and confidence blossom! Showing a patient their before and after photos, and seeing their delighted amazement, never gets old. I joined the Wakham Orthodontics team this year. I provide chairside assistance, supporting Dr. Wakham and our patients. I also handle some lab work and diagnostic records.
In my free time I enjoy catching up on new movies and TV shows. I also like spending time with my family and friends.
I am a former patient of Wakham Orthodontics. Being on the opposite side sitting chairside is so different and I am loving it. I assist patients during visits, preparing them to see the doctor and explaining what will happen. Then I sit chairside, helping the doctor while making sure our patient is comfortable.
I enjoy watching baseball and spending time with my family and friends.
I love seeing all of the smiling faces in our office. It’s a joy to be part of a team that makes a lasting difference in people’s lives. When you love your smile, you’re so much happier! I started here in 2005 and knew I’d found my professional home. I like talking with patients and parents about what’s happening in their lives. Hearing about their family, vacations, and accomplishments, is enjoyable. Everyone always has new stories to share! Watching people who’ve become my friends get the beautiful smile they deserve makes me happy.
I’ve been married for almost 10 years. We have a young daughter and a Chiweenie named ChiChi. I love time with my family and shopping. I’m on the PTO team at my daughter’s school, too.
I enjoy meeting our patients and their families as they begin orthodontics. It’s amazing to see how each patient gains confidence and becomes more outgoing as they move through treatment. The day they see their new smile for the first time is always wonderful and we celebrate with them. I started with Wakham Orthodontics in 2002 and love being part of a great team. I work with patients and parents to set up financial arrangements. I also handle the insurance filings.
I have one child, who’s a Zoologist and a graduate of Auburn University. I have a fur baby, a French bulldog named Drew. My favorite time of the year is football season. I love college football!
Treatment Coordinator and Clinical Assistant
I never get tired of watching a person’s smile transform and seeing how good it makes them feel! A healthy, confident smile makes a lasting change and we create those smiles every day. In 1997 I started with this practice and am still friends with some of those first patients I met. I take care of new patients, walking them through their initial visits, explaining treatment, and answering questions. I also work directly with patients in our clinic area.
I’m very proud of my two amazing sons, Micah and Brennan. I’m a Disney fanatic! I also love the beach and spending time with my family and my best friend, my toy poodle, Buddy.
I truly enjoy the world of orthodontics. This has been my job since 1982 and I still love seeing those incredible smiles and the happiness on a patient’s face at the end of treatment. Watching each patient become more comfortable with their appearance, and knowing they’re going to have a happier life, is fulfilling. I oversee our practice, working with our team, patients and parents, and handling our payroll and accounts payable.
My husband Cliff and I have been married for more than 30 years. We have one son who’s currently finishing his last year of law school. For a hobby, we have a miniature horse farm.
